Anybody has any ideas of internal coating for 32" crude line? We are looking for coating system to prolong life of the crude line by applying any coats internally. If anyone has heard, known, experienced about something like this, please help. Thank you so much.

Phenoilc based epoxy costings(75% -85% Vol Solds) on Class 3 Blast profile (75 -125um)normaly of 3coats of 125um is the standard practice. International, Ameron, Jotun and carbolin have proven products off the shell for this application. Your applicators have to be qualified experienced to do this job correctly. Strict supervison is necessary.

Thanks, vj463. I've forgot to mention that the line is sub-sea and underground and 1.5 km long. I need to know the way to coat it internally without digging it up from the sea.

Thanks.

I'm sure I've heard of it being done on smaller pipelines using pigs.

Have you considered slip lining the pipe with a thermoplastic lining?
