Any NX 9 FCA users?

Long time UG/NX user but we have some new FCA work coming in. One of my design staff members is handling this work and is a new NX user. A returned print requested an extension line gap and I tried to instruct the old Insert -> Symbol -> User Defined... method but, low and behold, in the Team Center connected version this isn't an option. When you DO get into the symbol directories, they're for the most part in Italian. Anybody run into this?

What is FCA ?
I think you want to add a gap to a dimension line / extension line.
The way to do this pre NX10 is to add a user defined symbol "gap25" or similar ( where 25 = 0.25 inch for us metric people.. :- )
This should be possible out of the box. Maybe your install has the directories pointing somewhere such that the default library isn't available.
what NX version are you running ?
Can you post a screen dump of the user defined symbols menu ?
The attached is the ootb dialog in NX7.5

Tomas

Thanks for the reply Tomas. I'm familiar with the standard way to do this via the Utility directory. This is a Fiat-Chrysler Automotive (FCA) version of NX9 integrated with Team Center. Not unlike GM's version it has some custom settings and the symbol's directory is a major change.

I can get a couple screen grabs of the menus but they're all in Italian.
