We proposed this on one of my plans and the City I'm working for is concerned that the slurry seal won't bond to the ARHM like it would on a typical ACP. I've never heard of this concern and was wondering if anyone on this forum has any opinion on this.

Thanks!

You have not provided any information as to the type of slurry seal and the emulsion to be used. I would be concerned about compatibility and stripping as well. It would be prudent to run a few tests to determine compatibility and stripping potential. It probably won't be an issue if the ARHM has sufficiently weathered, but should be checked anyway.
