ANSYS Workbench very unstable

Win 10, x64, ANSYS AIM 17.1

First it was the Meshing module that kept freezing & now its exiting the Geometry module that freezes.

I'm using the simplest geometry imaginable, a square!

Anybody else have similar issues?

Sorry to hear about your experience. I barely use AIM, you could try other versions to see if the issue is gone, such as v18.x.

Is there another pre-processor for Ansys do you know?

DrBwts: you could try Workbench, note that AIM and Workbench are two different preprocessors.

Just installed Workbench but that keeps crshing too

Turns out I had my monitor plugged into the wrong socket!
