I have a pair of cylinders in contact, one inside the other. The inside cylinder is longer than the outside. When I use Reaction Force probe for the contact, it calculates the total reaction through the entire length/area that is in contact. Is there a way to calculate the reaction force only on the very edge of the outside cylinder? If I add an edge/surface or edge/body contact between the desired outer edge and the inner body, would it affect the results in any way, or would it serve to calculate the reaction force, but the contact and deformation will be correctly calculated?
