We have modeled a girder style tower in CREO and imported it to ANSYS Workbench. It meshes ok. I am trying to do multiple analyses on the tower, starting with just a static dead load with the four feet fixed and earth gravitational loads applied, nothing more. I get the following error:
An internal solution magnitude limit was exceeded. (Node Number 280951, Body DIAGONALBRACE-TT[1017], DOF UZ) Please check your Environment for inappropriate load values or insufficient supports. You may select the offending object and/or geometry via RMB on this warning in the Messages window. Please see the Troubleshooting section of the Help System for more information.
When I do the "Select Mesh by ID" command, I get the node where the problem is supposed to be. (It moves around after I attempt to correct or restructure the model and reimport).
I have run numerous problems with similar format and have never had this error appear. We have tried several modeling changes, search for connection issues to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm baffled and running out of patience.
