Getting pretty frustrated trying to figure out how in the world to input material data for fiber composite materials, specifically UHMWPE, without ANSYS having a stroke saying "the Hydro strength can only be used with Hydro failure" or the EOS and strengths are incompatible. Attached is a copy of the PDF journal for the data I need to input. I think I only need the data that is light gray/yellow and not the light blue, but honestly at this point I don't care which set of data it is, as long as it gets this to run correctly.
I attempted to run it with just orthrotopic stress failure since it wouldn't let me do anything else, and as expected it resulted in no strains or elasticity, which is completely wrong for this material. Right now I have it running with a Polynomial EOS, principal stress failures, and crack softening failure, no idea if it'll be accurate in the slightest. Worse yet, nobody at my university knows anything about this stuff. Also, it is important to know that I am running a stock version of commercial ANSYS, meaning I don't have any custom material models.
Any help on getting this to actually work is greatly appreciated, thanks!
