Hey all,

I am designing a Formula SAE carbon fiber monocoque. Based on a number of struggles I've had in both programs, ANSYS ACP seems to be giving me larger values of torsional stiffness compared to Siemens Femap, 5600 ft-lb/deg versus 3300 ft-lb/deg. It's a relatively complex model though, and I haven't yet tried a simpler model, which I will do. Has anyone else experienced similarities/differences between the two programs?

Thanks.
