In the 26th Edition of Machinery's handbook there is a table of machining tolerances that can be expected for various machining operations. It references ANSA B4.1 - 1967 (reaffirmed 1987).
Similar to, but much broader than ISO 2768. ( that has fine medium and coarse tolerances for various features by size).

However It seems like pretty much all other references say B4.1 is about cylindrical fits only .
Even ANSI/ASME herself.

ISO 286: System of limits and fits
ANSI B4.1: Preferred limits and fits
ISO 2768-1: General tolerances for linear and angular dimensions

Has a typo-graphical error crept in over the years?
Is there some other ANSI BX.X standard that actually includes info similar to the tasty table in Machinery's Handbook 26th?
