ANSI-number for disturbance recorder

In our current project we have to install separate disturbance recorders (SIMEAS R from Siemens). We are reading and re-reading table of ANSI-numbers, but cannot find any suitable. May be the reason is that these numbers are mostly provided for protection relays and functions.
I am looking for advice - what kind of designation to use? Letter acc. to me have to be P, as it is actually metering device, but which number is more suitable after it?

We typically used 30 for an annunciator-type alarm function. That may be OK, if you are not using that for something else.

There is an update (or proposed update) to the ANSI device designation that you might want to search for.

We decided to use DFR instead of an ANSI number. It didn't seem worth trying to make an ANSI number fit when only a few users will remember what 30 means.

Today is better use 61850 naming .

The new IEEE C37.2 2008 would label it as DDR for dynamic disturbance recorder or DFR for digital fault recorder depending on its function
