ANSA MEDINA Interface to ABAQUS : BEAM ORIENTATION

Hi all,
Does anyone use ANSA and or MEDINA preprocesors to create input files for Abaqus? When so, did you face difference in results when defining BEAM ORIENTATION? I am not able to ascertain for sure, if the BEAM ORIENTATION defined by these preprocessors is consistent with that of ABAQUS. I dont know any of these preprocessors, and dont use them. But I am currently having input files generated by them and wonder if someone else have more experience in this.
