Can I exclude components from being sectioned in a broken out view?
ie similar to using the standrad section tool. :^)

Broken Veiw is just extension of View with horizontal & vertical Breaklines. So it should be possible to exclude (i.e. Hide) components

No there is no way to directly to exclude components from a break view in SW01+. You can however hide certain parts in the view itself. RMB\Properties\Hide-Show components.
