I have 2 problems if somneone could help me out:

1) I have an assembly with several parts and sub-assemblies in it. Now every time I close and re-open the main assembly, the annotations show up even though before closing the assembly, I had right-clicked "Annotations" in featuremanager and cleared the check mark, as well as cleared checkmark from individual parts "Annotations". How do I turn off the annotations permamnently so that they don't show up every time I re-open an assembly document?

2) Can I use mating dimensions in equations? For example, let's say I have an assembly with 2 cubical blocks in it, parallel to each other and located at a certain distance from each other, let's say 10in. Now I want to insert a reference plane between these two blocks such that the plane is equidistant from both the blocks even if I change the distance in the distance mate. I tried linking the 2 dimensions (distance from one block to the plane and distance between the two blocks) by equations, but it doesn't work. How can I do this? Can I use reference dimensions in equations?

Thanks for looking.

"Distance to plane from block 1" = "Distance between blocks" /2

[bugeyed] I tried sniffing Coke once, but the ice cubes got stuck in my nose [shocked]

For question 1):-

Go to Tools > Options > Document Properties > Annotations Display & uncheck the Display Annotations box.
