Hello,

I'm new to UG and I'm modeling an assembly of a fan and a shaft, I'd like to make the fan rotate at a constant speed around the shaft but I can't get there.

Can anyone help me with the step to go through to make it?

Thank you all :)

Create your assembly so that the fan is free to rotate (i.e. DON'T fully constrain it). Now go to...

Assemblies -> Sequence...

...and create a new Sequence, then select the 'fan', and when the handle comes up select the appropriate rotate handle and entire some mulitple of 360°, then select the green checkmark and now you can play your sequence using the red 'VCR' controls in the the Sequence toolbar. And if you're running NX 6.0 or newer, there will also be an icon show a movie camera which will allow you to create an AVI of your fan so that you can play it on any 3rd party media player.
