Hi to all abaqus people,
Does anyone knows how to make animated giff out of explicit results. Do you know any scripts?

Record it to a video then go to download.com to get a video to GIF conversion program. Then post what one you used, frame rate and other lessons learned to this forum.

For a decent image you may need to turn off the element edges.

Looks like you hands are tied. Can you just bring it home or is this sensitive information. If so what are you going to use an animated GIF for?

we will use it for explicit analysis and we have a in house giff generator but it doesnt work well with abaqus so i have to write sth. myself then ...
