What is the deflection limit requirement for anchorage point (fall arrest system) that is installed on roof truss? I noticed the following statement on OSHA website 1910.66 App C.
"The anchorage should be rigid, and should not have a deflection greater than .04 inches (1 mm) when a force of 2,250 pounds (10 kN) is applied."
Does this deflection limit requirement apply for anchorage point installed on roof truss or is this limit just for anchorage point mounted on powered Platforms, Manlifts, and vehicle-Mounted Work Platforms?
What if I use the deflection limit state for beams such as L/360, where L is span of the truss.
Thanks,
