for "headed anchor bolts with welded plates" is there any standard/rule/good eng practice/etc for the design of the welded plate itself ? (that is diam, thickness, etc)

Thanks

I often just use a heavy hex headed nut... A plate of similar proportions will likely do the same... test results are generally for heavy hex head nuts.

Thanks for the sheet... often use heavy hex without the plate. It's been a couple of decades since I last spec'd a 'J' bolt...
