Hi,
I trying to apply a pressure on a small section of specimen in the middle and this load is distributed according to an expression in term of position.
Should I write the expression a cording to the real x-y-z or abaqus treat the start of the small section as (0,0,0).
Please help me

You can do either, but the second method you propose is more intuitive (and easier to read) - just make sure you create a locla coordinate system and then reference this in the analytical expression you write.

thanks, brep
how could I create a local coordinate system.
