I am running static analysis on camshaft..I am getting the error 'load on surface which is not part of an element". I have attached the file...please help me in stress analysis..I am using multi-pass adaptive...and I have only been applying forces on two camshafts surfaces, the lobes part i.e. the peak...you can do analysis by putting forces on any part of cams to start with...I am just not getting how to get done with this error...

thx

Where are you trying to place the forces?

What version are you using?

The lobes are surfaces and need to be solidified before you
run the analysis. Image shows the mesh of the model and
you will see the gaps caused by the non-solidified
lobes.
