I am looking for someone who has and is willing to share a library of AN fittings. I am a draftsman for a company that specializes in vintige war plane restoration. I am wanting this so I can dirive a parts list w/out have to draw the myself, for the sake of time.

Thank you in advance

Brian

Try the SolidWorks forum. Good luck!

I would but we have let our subscription laps

Try Traceparts, they can provide fittings, parts etc in many formats including solidworks. From what i can tell, alot of their parts are manufacturer specific.

Of course they charge for this service but they do have a fairly good aircraft hardware selection now.

Additionally I don't think you will find many people who will share their library of parts since it is quite an investment in time and effort to establish a decent library, especially for aircraft hardware.

If you just looking for basic hardware it may be worthwhile to spend some time to generate some basic AN and MS hardware. If solidworks has the capability to have a single generic part and manipulate this to suit , for example, bolt length and diameter then you will find you can probably get away with only having a dozen or so parts!

I hope this helps...
