Does anyone have any data on the Flammability of Ammonia in an enriched Oxygen atmosphere?
I have the data in air but the process generates oxygen so I need to assess the exposion hazard at enriched levels.

You might get a guide from my spreadsheet at
You need to use the IE browser and also have Excel registered on your computer.

Bear in mind that this is just an estimate and that it will need you to input the flammability limits of ammonia.
Also note that ammonia has a whole range of flammability limits. Upward flame travel has wider limits than horizontal which are wider than downward flame travel. At some low temperatures, downward flame propagation isn't possible at all, because of the input energy requirements. You need to think about how your flame may react if it becomes a flame and use the approriate limits. Don't just pick the first ones you come across.
Representative figures for upward propagation are LEL=17% UEL=26% Stoic ratio=3.573

Ignore any commentary in the results as it may not apply to your situation. You need to make up you own mind about what the results show you.

Thanks Flareman thats a big help.
