Hi all first post on the forum, hopping someone could help me out.
I believe there are some very clever laser techs on this forum.
Our Amada has developed a problem what looks like other people have had over the years.
calibration of the height sensor failing.
I can run the machine on standard nozzles ok and set the machine to do a clean on the start of a program.
the machine can height sense on the nozzle changer but that's it.
if i try to do a calibration on the workpiece it just fails.
I have had amada look at it, changing the HS board out and preamplifier, testing the coax cord to no benefit.
also rebuilding the cutting head to factory spec regarding impedance.
I am thinking it might be a parameter thing.
I have also noticed setting the height to standard in cut conditions = heigh, mid =lower , heigh = low.
seams to be in reverse.
Where should I start? any help would be appreciated.
