Amada FO -3015 Laser Shutdown parameter

Does anybody know what parameter to change in order to have a quick shutdown instead of the usual 15-20 min shutdown. We are doing maintenance and the amada tech told us he won't tell us the parameter because we cancelled a service call. and insight would be greatly appreciated

15003.2 called GVW. 1 is long shut down, 0 is short.

I had to be that guy once...that called the Amada service center and talked to their supervisor because of some BS like that. Amada is here to give you service, whether you have a service call out or not (Or a maintenance contract for that matter). There are plenty of laser manufacturers out there...I would let them know that.

Thank you Laserninja. we can always count on you for our laser needs. now you need to move closer so I have a good laser technician around. haha but yes sparky I agree. where can I find other laser technicians to work on AMADA equipment?
