AM modeler ABAQUS error

Hello,

I am submitting the Job of the AM model, an error have aborded

"error in job AM-Load: Unknown keyword "activateelements". The keyword may be misspelled, obsolete, or invalid".
"error in job AM-Load: Unknown keyword "eventseries". The keyword may be misspelled, obsolete, or invalid".

it is like the software does not recognize the plugIn. I am using ABAQUS Version 6.14-5.
do I need to update the software?

AM Modeler plug-in is only used to automatically write proper keywords to the input file. But it’s quite common that it makes some mistakes in keywords. Thus you should edit the input file in text editor, check all keywords related to AM process simulation and compare them with syntax described in the documentation.

Thank you, so I do not need to Upgrade ABAQUS? my version is 6.14
and I will check the input

This version is quite old, it would be better to replace it with newer one. Current releases of Abaqus have built-in subroutines for AM process modeling and it’s easier to prepare such simulations. But AM Modeler plug-in with proper libraries placed in working directory should let you run such analysis in older versions too.
