Hi guys! I am new with this kind of stuff. I hope you can help me here. I would like to know the step by step computations on how you can get the safe size of aluminum angle supporting the aluminum I-Beam on top of it. The angle was stiffened. I also need to know the required size of the stiffener.
And of course, I need to know the size and quantity of anchor bolts to be used in this type of connection. Is there any specific BS Standard for this wherein I can use as guide for the computation? I hope you can help me guys...

Sorry...we're not here to do your work for you. This is the type of exercise that you would be better served to have a local structural engineer involved. Aluminum is more difficult to work with than most other structural materials and has different code requirements because of its properties.

I will assume you are in the UK, so I'm not familiar with the code requirements there, but in the US, they are significantly different for aluminum.
