I have a mechanism modeled that involves a spring-pulled pin traveling through a set of different closed profiles on different parts in the mechanism. When I am trying to do a motion analysis of the mechanism, it only allows me to make a slot constraint for the pin and parts in order to model the motion somewhat effectively. Due to the different shaped profiles on the these parts, this requires a very complex trajectory to lay out and it still cannot model the motion as per how it would realistically.

Is there any method to model motion such that the pin has a free trajectory within the closed profiles?
