Hi,

I am designing a braced cut for an excavation that is less than 6m. With that, Peck's pressure envelope is not applicable. Is there another method in determining the pressure envelope?

I think peck envelope is routinely used regardless of 6m or less

I agree with EireChch. Over the years, many different apparent or empirical earth pressure distributions have been successfully used. Peck's is probably the most commonly used. In the US, on highway projects, FHWA, AASHTO, and state DOT's often require use of the unsymmetrical trapezoid where the trapezoid shape is dependent on the location of the tiebacks or braces. If retaining very soft soils or if a single tier tieback or brace is located very high on the wall, you may want to consider using a triangular earth pressure distribution.
