Alternative test in lieu of an standard hydrostatic test

Can anyone please provide me relevant page of ASMEB31.1 in which Initial Test Service, in lieu of an standard hydrostatic test is acceptable. As per ASME B31.1 para. 137.7 .
100% NDT in lieu of hydro test is acceptable or not?
if yes,then relevant page of ASME guidelines please.

Basically its all down to the owner.

Yes pneumatic testing is, but only with owner permission.

You really need to get your own copy if you're using the code in design or construction.

It can be depended on the Owner acceptance in a case by case situation for the B31.1 piping. Also, it may be accepted as no other testing is practical.
The AI is very tough to deal with for this type of request, in my experience.
