I have a situation involving a roadway widening that is going to conflict with an existing manhole. The ‘new’ curb and gutter will be situated over the center of the manhole lid. The manhole has two gravity lines coming in and one leaving. Any ideas on alternate manhole ‘lid’ designs?

If this is a storm manhole, install a grate in place of a solid cover. If it's a sanitary manhole, install a rubber gasketed lid to preven inflow. Is there more to your question that I'm not understanding?

Do you have enough vertical to use an eccentric cone section? This would allow you to adjust the location of the lid by the rotation of the section.

I'm looking for a detail of 48" ID manhole with an eccentric opening. I need this to be a cast in place structure and I need the eccentricity to occur near the bottom of the manhole. I need the taper to occur in order to avoid an existing utility. I would like to taper to a 24" opening at the top. Can someone please direct me to a detail?

Sorry, disregard my reply. I was trying to post a new thread.
