I was reading about the Aloha 243 accident when I came across the website
The author claims that the explosive decompression was due to the "fluid hammer effect" from the flight attendant being lodged in the flapped opening at STA 500, evidenced by her skull's imprint at STA 540 (skin splice location, I take it). This would in turn compromise Boeing's fail-safe design pertaining to safe decompression.
Any thoughts on this?
