Hello There,
Alodine is a form of chromate conversion coating typically deposited onto aluminum panels for corrosion protection. It is somewhat conductive and is used heavily on airframe structural members. A contrasting finsh on aluminum is anodizing which is a different manufacturing process and to my knowledege is not conductive. As you are probably aware, gold is a precious metal deposit and heavily used in electrical connectors. Gold and alodine are not typically used in the same applications. [sig]<p>William H.
