Double check the grade, there is a 24NiCrMoV14-6, and a bunch with similar designations. Do you have a specification No. or an alloy No.?

Sorry, can't provide more info. I suspect that this is a "house designation" to keep the client coming back to the O.E.M.. However, I now am advised that this component has been previously supplied in 4340 H.T.S.R. and that is an apparently satisfactory alternate.
