Dear All

Does anyone knows where can i find the allowable stress values for material SA213-T23 in order to calculate the minimum wall thickness. Because i couldn't find it in the Table 1A of ASME Sec II Part D.

Regards,

Because this material is approved by Code Case (2199-8) only for BPV I.

What does that means?

What does it mean? It means the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel code committee has not yet decided to include this specific material in Section II, Part D, and assign stress values. Instead, the use of this material is allowed on a provisional basis with assigned allowable stress values. You need to obtain a copy and read the code case.

Before i even get a copy of the code, do you know if those "assigned allowable stress values" is available / mentioned in the code case (2199-8). Otherwise, i'll be getting nothing out of it...
