Dear all,
I believe this must have been discussed in the past. I have a 2 1/4Cr-1 Mo vertical vessel with full vacuum at 1100 F (593C). It is beyond the chart to find out allowable "B" value. Then what is the best approach to get the allowable compressive stress ? Thanks in advance for your help.

For ASME Section VIII, Division 1 construction, you can use Code Case 2964 for Creep buckling rules. For Division 2 construction, you can use Code Case 3029.
