allowable bearing stress of white delrin 2

I am looking for the allowable bearing stress of delrin. This is the white type of delrin. The application is for a sleeve bearing in a caster wheel. We purchase the wheel from a manufacturer of casters but I don't have any information about the allowable bearing stress on the bearing. The caster will mostly be stationary rather than rolling so I want to make sure the bearing does not deform. My calculated bearing stress is only about 312 psi which should be fine but I want to make sure.

You really should be more specific. Delrin is a tradename for an acetal (also called polyoxymethylene or POM)homopolymer from DuPont. There are many grades of Delrin, differing in molecular weight, filler content, etc. If you are certain that it is Delrin, and not another grade (Celcon copolymer from Ticona, etc.), then go to either the DuPont webpage or to Matweb and find the mechanical property information you need. Thanks for the reply. I'm not really sure what type it is. This bearing is already installed in the caster. I'll check out your recommended links and see what I can find. I mainly want to know that I'm in the ballpark.
