I've been having problems connecting to my Allen Bradley Versa View CE 1000H recently, whenever I try to configurate the communication settings on RS View ME. I've been getting the Driver failed to Autoconfig COM1: and therefore will not start. I had dowloaded an application before to the same terminal several months ago, and I think I used a Null Modem cable to do so, but really don't remember. Could this by any chance be possible? I also don't remember whether I need to have RSLinx running or not. Could anybody please help me in this matter. I'll appreciate it greatly.
