I am looking for alignment checksheets for both close coupled and pulleys. I can find procedures all over the net but no checksheets. These sheets can be generic. My boss is even willing to pay, though probably not much.

Thanks,

Jim

Go here
and click on "Importance of Machinery Alignment Records"

That gives some example alignment sheets. I think if you download them and expand them, they may be more readable.

By the way, those apply to what I would call direct coupled (vs belt driven). It means a separable coupling between the motor shaft and the load shaft. I think the term "close coupled" means the load (for example pump impeller or fan hub) is mounted direct to the motor shaft. (someone correct me if I've got my terminology mixed up)

Thanks,

I think I am wrong. Close coupled I believe is directly to the impeller.
