AISI Material Properties 1

Heya,

I'm after the Mechanical properties of AISI 4140 shafting:

1/ UTS Stress
2/ Yeild Stress
3/ Endurance Stress

The shaft i'm designing will be no bigger than Ø100mm

You might list the BHN range that you are using.
For 250 BHN
Tensile 123000 psi
Yield 99000 psi
Endurance limit assuming 55 percent of Tensile
is 67669 psi.
