I have AISC ASD Manual 9th Edition (green book) and AISC LRFD Manual 2nd Edition (silver book).

Now both ASD and LRFD of the Manual are combined into one edition.

What edition was it first released into one combined edition - 13th?

The 13th (black) has both ASD and LRFD. I believe it was the first, but am not certain.

Yes the 13th.

There were ASD editions 1-9.
There were LRFD editions 1-3
12 in all.

The combined (next) edition was 13.

The 10th, 11th, and 12th editions really didn't exist but AISC sort of implied that LRFD 1-3 was 10-12.

I am going to upgrade to the 14th Ed. Just noticed that my 2nd Ed. LRFD Manual has Iyy of many of the larger W sections (eg W36x231) incorrect - appears to have the Iyy of one flange only, so out by a factor of 2! Grrrr!

Ingenuity, if you can put up with first run errata, the 15th Ed is due out soon.

Thanks Lo.

Based upon your comment of "first run errata" and JAE and others comments here thread172-414458 I may stay with the 14th.
