I developed an spreadsheet to get the compression capacities (load with eccentricity) for single angle with equal legs, I meet AISC criteria E3, E4, E5, E7 and also F10 and H for combined action (13th and 14 Edition are the same),the numbers that i get as result capacities comply with table 4-12 on the AISC 13th edition but the numbers on table 4-12 from the AISC 14th are 20% much higher.
Does anyone knows why table 4-12 on this two AISC editions are so much different.
thanks

Connections were revised for the 14th Ed. I can't recall why, but I do remember them saying (in a webinar) that capacities were increased as a result of new research.
