I was searching the web about AIP systems, and I was wondering how is the combustion of the internal combustion motor effected by using its own cooled exhaust gases?

And if your not able to answer that question, does it even matter as long as there is pure oxygen and fuel?

Thanks

It is called exhaust gas recirculation EGR and is used in both gasoline and diesel engines, although for rather different reasons.

There's no inherent problem so far as I know.

Cheers
