I need a guildline how to estimate airflow for an air drived backup motor when I know the electrical motor size is 100hp. Thx a lot.

hello,

try Ingersol-Rand, Atlas-Copco, Cooper and others.

regards,
roker

I have used many pneumatic motors in the past but not one as big as yours. The maximum HP I used was about 3 and it was consuming about 15 scfm. Festo can give you ideas about calculation of cfm.

Thx for all your info. The motor is 1 hp. Sorry for confusing you.
