Newbie:
It would logically seem that you are in the best career and geological position to advise US of the step-by-step processes involved in manufacturing air coolers. Why do you ask us to describe what is happening in your own front yard?

Because MR. MONTEMAYOR i am a WOMAN and i work in the office and would like to increase my knowledge and possibly move out into the shop. Except all the MEN wont share any of their mechanical knowledge with me so i am seeking outside help from people like you, if you have any info or advice of where to go for info please reply.

Perhaps you are imposing limitations on yourself in that you believe that "men wont share any of their mechanical knowledge with" you.
If you demonstrate good mechanical aptitude/knowledge and a willingness to learn, then perhaps the "men in the shop" will gladly share their expertise with you. Certainly, if one presents themselves as incompetent, then you surely can understand such responses from "men in the shop".
Regardless, good luck with your ventures and check/leave the attitude outside the workplace.

Dont mean to have an attitude but i am just asking for help and my shop is male dominated and they dont want any women knowing what they know. ALL i'm asking for is where i might go to research the design and building process on my own so i dont have to bother anyone at work. Do you know of any books, articles,websites that may be of help to me???? I thought this website might help but all i'm getting is mental counseling. I'm a single mom trying to better myself and learn as much as i can about a process i know nothing about. I would appreciate any help. Thank you

Go walk the shop. Start where the raw material comes in, and follow it through to where your finished product leaves the building.
Try to figure out what happens at each manufacturing stage. Take note of the manufacturers of the various machines that are used. Go look at their web sites.

MintJulep is absolutely right. Being able to go out to the shop and see how things actually get done is essential to understanding the manufacturing process. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Try sales.
Sales guys always want to tell their customers how great little differences are between their products and the competitors. Many customers don't want to listen to the sales guy, so a sales guy is likely to be eager to find someone who will listen to him.
I suspect that sales is likely to be done through Manufacturer's Reps (or distributors), but a manufacturer always has a sales manager and or a marketing guy in the main office, who should know something about the manufacturing process (my experience is that hard knowledge is iffy for a lot of marketing people).

Design, block, cook, fit manifolds, test, paint and ship.
That is; sort out what size it has to be, get the core together, apply some process that joins it all together, connect all the finned pipes together with U tubes or tanks, test it, finish it and send it to the customer.
Exactly how you join it into one lump and fit manifolds depends on the type of air blast cooler. What you making?

I am not in the construction of air coolers but as I work in a refinery I know a little bit about these equipments.
I advise you that during the construction in the shop some times the constructers make mistakes because of lack of supervision and misinterpretation of drawings. The bad think that happened to us was, we received an air cooler for a unit, and this air cooler was inspected in shop by the unit licencer. The air cooler was installed in place and after start up we discover that there was something wrong with partition plates the fluid didn’t cool because partition plates shouldn’t have holes and because of that mistake the product goes in and out without cooling.
