Affordable Accelerometer Data Collection

My question is I have a couple different NI DAQ boards and a signal conditioner, but do not want to pay for an updated version of LabVIEW. Are there any third party softwares that can communicate with the boards. If not what is the best cheap package of DAQ and software out there?

for $139.00. There are plenty of other choices, but they depend on the features and specifications you need and of course the budget! What and where are you trying to measure?

I have an large optics mount that needs stiffening. I am trying to measure the effect of various additional stiffening members as we add them to verify FEA results.
