Hi there, I'm wondering if anyone can give me direction to help devise a system to make use of the auxiliary bits in the aes-ebu data stream; i.e. can anyone advise me on methods of isolating and setting the aux bits? thanks, ajs

One approach would be to use a pair of AES transmitter/receiver chips, which allow them to be set and reset. A combined part is the CS8420.

Note that many pieces of equipment do not pass user bits, they tend to get stripped off easily.
