I am looking for a device that is capable of swapping AES audio channels within the AES audio pair without using a DSP to do so. Is there such a device? I was toying with the idea of using a Analog Devices D/A converter and it's convert A/D counter part. I was just hoping to keep it within a digital domain. The signal would be sychronous and the serial output device should be reclocking. I'm trying to make a router of sorts. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Not clear what you are really trying to do, but if you were to use an AES transceiver (Crystal 8420 etc) this would give you a nice serial output stream with which a bit of logic and a few shift registers could do many things. No DSP needed, but possibly a microcontroller to program the beast.
