aero formula sought for teathered inverted stable cone

I am looking for a formula that relates the aircraft velocity, bank angle(radius of turn), length of a teather, and weight of an object on that teather for a stable solution. Normally a teathered object in a turn will be forced outboard by the centrifical force, but there is an inverted stable cone configuration also, whereby the aircraft can fly in concentric circles with a payload on a teather remaining relatively stationary given the right combination of weight, length of teather, turn geometry and speed.
 
Hmmm... given the lack of responses to you question, I suspect the quickest way to arrive at solutions is to just go out and fly it - and take some parametric data that will reduce to a formula. My background is Indy Car design, and as you can imagine, we learn many things we don't publish. The hat trick you describe is done often enough that I suppose someone already has the information you seek, but it is probably going to prove hard to find unless there is a name for the proceedure that can be entered into the Google Advanced Search Engine. Also, perhaps an AIAA paper exists on this one... mrvortex
