Hi,

Could anyone suggest the best method to wrap an assembly, for a customer to use?

We need a pretty accurate representation of the assembly's external features, e.g. mounting positions etc.
But we need internal details (of components) to be left out in order to protect IP.

Has anyone found a good method to achieve this relatively quickly?

Thanks, Carl

Have you looked at...

Assemblies -> Advanced -> Linked Exterior (or Simplify Assembly)...

...functions?

Hi John,

I'd never used simplify assembly, and it looks like exactly what we need.

Thank you very much, Carl
