Hi there!

The title says it all, I am after a book that teaches hydraulics at an advanced level. The books that I've encountered so far I would consider to be basic and far away from real applications. For example I haven't been able to find a book that teaches how to size a radiator (if needed) or an accumulator. Also, examples and calculation justifications would be ideal!
Thank you so much for your help!
Wish you a nice day;)

These are free.
Also, look at our website for applications and training videos.
I also have two year of magazine articles.
Do a search for Peter Nachtwey magazine articles.
There are also articles that were on Hydraulics and Pneumatics but now they are on
There are more articles on other magazines too.

If you want to get into control theory then look at my YouTube channel
Peter Ponders PID. It is very advanced.

The best book I came across and used when I was a hydraulic engineer was:-

Power Hydraulics by Michael J Pinches and John G Ashby

Used it daily, much of the physical theory is unchanged. It may be hard to get hold of so good look.

Also Mannesman Rexroth used to offer a range of different texts.

Aerospace Hydraulic Systems by Wayne Stout is the best I have found to date.
