Hi,
I am working on an adiabatic expansion problem. The problem is that air got compressed and after it is compressed it expands and cools to a certain temperature what causes icing on instruments in the process. I tried to calculate it with the following formula:
p11-gamma * T1gamma = p21-gamma * T2gamma
p1 is 10 bar, T1 is 293K, p2 is 1 bar, T2 must be calculated and gamma is 1.4.
If I fill in the data in the formula, the T2 temperature is around -243 C, what is a bit cold and unreal in my eyes.
Anyone who can help me out?
Robert
